Global Networks is a business solution service provider,
personal up-skilling capacity development organisation
and networking forum. The global
ethos of the organisation evolved from our original
networking organisation “Friends of Jamaica
Business and Eco-Tourism Trust” (FOJBETT).
Founded in 1999, to connect and network the Jamaican
community with other likeminded and entrepreneurial
individuals locally and globally.
Historically FOJBETT gained a series
of impressive recognition awards, for making a difference
to its local community and business stakeholders by
engaging them in its delivery of ongoing series of community
empowerment personal and business development events,
ranging from training, coaching, seminars, mentoring
or social networking activities, before social networking
became cool.
Awards gained so far from, the then
Mayor of London, Ken Livingston in 2003, Millennium
Commission and Council of Ethic Minority Voluntary Sector
Organisations (CEMVO).
Global Networks rapidly evolved to
its current status as our members case studies confirmed
that we all now live in the global village as players
and are interdependent on the successes and or challenges
facing each other locally or globally.
Our organisation also prides itself
on providing a networking forum of individuals form
varied business and personal backgrounds in a relaxed
and friendly meeting atmosphere conducive for connecting
like minded aspirational individuals
